Getting started

Welcome to Fluesta! This page walks you through the fastest path from the waitlist to your first dictation.

Prerequisites

• A macOS or Windows device (desktop app)
• A Fluesta beta account (via the waitlist)
• A microphone (built-in or external)

Start in 3 steps

1. Install the app — Download the desktop app and sign in with your beta account.
2. Know your hotkey — On macOS, the default is the Fn/Globe key. On Windows, it’s Ctrl + Space. Change it anytime under Settings → General.
3. Dictate — Open any app, hold the hotkey, speak, and Fluesta inserts the corrected text automatically.

Pro tip

Start with short sentences. Fluesta learns your speaking style — the more you dictate, the better grammar and punctuation become.
